hmm, if you look at the rear holes there is more loss of finish too, I cant see a difference there.

never more than two, I dont like changing basses that much through a gig. The days before the gig I try to find out which one feels best at the moment and than play only that one until the gig.

As I never had the chance to play one myself: how does a 4004 sound compared to the 2020? The difference is the neck-through, the electronics and hardware are the same (if made in the same year, otherwise the
