i'd like to install toasters in my 330. now there are sellers on ebay that sell original ric toasters with "mounting rigs" whereas on the ric homepage shop they just sell the pickups. do i really need some mounting rigs for my 330 or would the pickup be all i need?

yeah, true. tried the tomastik strings and they are closer to normal strings. much more confortable to play.Medicus1963 wrote:Hi,

sounds good but the mix could be better, voice dissapears sometimes and the cymbals/hi-hat is to loud. i know it's live ... just a thought ...

finally got the flatwounds, pyramid golds - man ... they def are stiffer! hah! i was surprised, didn't expect 'em to be this different from normal strings. bending is hard ... def changes your way of playing, so true. vintageß yeah, babey! hahaha! haven't recorded yet but will try to in the weekend....

For the twelves, I use two Vox Super Mini Reverbs. They're simple little 15 watt solid state Pathfinder heads (Volume, Gain, Treble, Bass, Tremolo and Reverb) with closed-back cabinets and Celestion speakers. The neck and bridge pickups run to a JangleBox and then to the SMR with four 8" speak...
