Rare small body short scale 360?
This is for sale at a local shop here in LA. The shop owner says the guitar is a one off and was special ordered for a music video and said it was made within the last 10 years. Has anyone seen one of these before? If authentic, any idea of the value? He's asking $2k https://live.staticflickr.com/65...

which type of truss rod is this?
This is a 325 12 string. According to the Ric site it was made April 1986 so it should be the new style but since it's a vintage reissue maybe they used the old style? At first I thought it was made in early 2000s so I tightened the rod and it seemed to straighten the neck. Thanks for your help. htt...

Neck pickup re-wind for my 610... Who and how much output?
The neck pickup on my '88 610 needs a rewind. Any recommendations on where to send it? And any advice concerning what output I should request? I know that the neck pups from this era are usually around 14 but they tend to be very dark sounding, right? I believe the bridge pickup is around 6 and I lo...

Gigging with vintage Rics?
Has anyone extensively gigged with their vintage Rickenbacker? Any issues? I love my '68 330 of course, but I worry about it's durability being dragged around to gigs and clubs...

Re: Midnight Blue Discontinued
I like then Rics have a flatter finish, like Azureglo and an aged Jetglo. The more recent midnight blue and ruby are too metallic for my taste

Re: Hi-gain bridge pickup in neck position?
That's a great looking guitar. Really is. I would do one thing to that guitar if it were mine. Paint a bridge cover black and put it on. The chrome bridge stands out like a sore thumb; you can't paint the bridge, but a bridge cover you can. You've already got black pickups and rings, black tuners, ...

Re: Hi-gain bridge pickup in neck position?
Thanks Collin! Replacing the neck pickup in my beloved '88 610 with an 11.3K Ohms hi-gain bridge PU. Hoping it will be a better balance compared to the usual 14 or so ohm neck pickup rating from that era...

Hi-gain bridge pickup in neck position?
I know the pole spacing is slightly narrower with neck pickups but if I install a bridge pickup in there will I really notice a difference? Anyone tried? thanks!

Rickenbacker 610 pickup problem help
Hey guys, I bought this '88 610 a few months ago and I love it! The only issue is the neck pickup sounds very thin, no bass, almost like an out of phase setting when just on this pickup. And when I turn down the bass tone knob the volume decreases as well. It has a replaced pickguard but the wiring ...

Re: 1966 360/12 Mapleglo touch up or restore
I definitely wouldn't touch up or refinish the fretboard. That's just the clear coat rubbing off slightly and proof that the guitar has actually been played. Both of my vintage Rics have this and it just adds character.

Ryder ES16 evaluation
Hey guys, I have the opportunity to pick up this ES16 and wanted some opinions first. This looks to be a very clean guitar but has obviously had some changes. It looks like the pickguard has been replaced, the input jack moved to the side of the body, new wiring, new switch, new pots, new bridge and...
