The inacuracy of your register wich came up in another topic made me think of this:

i would sugest sending a request to all registered owners to review their items details and if no answer within a certain delay, deleting it or give it an "non verified" kinda tag....or at least some way of trying ...

Hey somebody registered my bass a few weeks back. I don't have access to modify and some of the info is wrong.....How can we fix this...???

Yep, that bass is really me. Bought it 25 year ago when a student instead of paying my rent (cuz i was so enfatuated with the deal) and got kicked out of my place (wich turned out to be a great move). I've tried others from time to time, 5 strings, fretless etc etc but i alway come back to this one ...

Thanks guys, bare with me a bit more. I'm not so familiar with some of your terminology. You mention "patina" is that the missing paint pixels with the varnish still intact from my thumb action on the upper back neck? I've found that to be so peculiar. Also the "suround" is that the missing metal ...

My 4001

I've been playing this 4001 bass for over 25 years (love it) and i'm still not sure, how can i tell if its a straight 4001 or a S or LH or JG. I'd also like to figure what year it is. Since i bought it used how could i go about this?
