Re: Janglebox Nano

Welcome to the world of Janglebox. What took you so long to come to the party? It's the compressor Byrds fans have prayed for.

Re: NAMM 2021

I'm not surprised at all. Gear manufacturers will be doing virtual displays of new product and that's not such a bad thing. I like attending NAMM as much as anyone, but you'll avoid the crowds (especially on Saturday), the noise, the lousy food in the Civic Center and so forth.

That guitar is well worth a restoration. Good luck with it.

Re: Are the Byrds still relevant?

Its been a bad year for the Cros - diagnosed with tendonitis. He might never play guitar again. If they can all survive the virus, RM needs to relent and agree to reform and tour again. They are going to need the money! Has anybody seen the outtakes from REMEMBER MAY NAME? Both Chris and RM say som...

Mastery Bridge: Does It Make A Difference?

Does installing a Mastery bridge on a Rick 6 do anything to improve the sustain? What are the advantages to using a Mastery bridge otherwise?

Re: NGD: Turquoise 330

Thanks, all. The guitar is now with my tech, who's changing strings and getting it set up properly. The action was a bit high when I got it, but I lowered it successfully. I'm sure it'll be great when I get it back. The neck was dead straight when I received it.

NGD: Turquoise 330

My 1995 Turquoise 330 arrived Friday and I'm extremely pleased with it. It's dead mint and plays very well. Now, I just have to get the ancient strings off it so It'll stay in tune. Now, you all know why I was asking about turquoise Ricks last week. I had one coming, but the deal wasn't quite done y...

I just spent about an hour looking over your collection on your website and am very impressed. The Rickenbackers are incredible.

Turquoise Ricks

Can someone tell me about Rickenbacker's use of the color turquoise? When were their turquoise guitars made? How may were made? Was the finish called turquoise or something else? I just want to find out what I can about this finish and its rarity.

Re: New member and first time Ric owner!

That's the lovely deep fireglo from the late 80s - early 90s. I used to own a 1990 340/6 VP with the same coloration. Beautiful guitar, Bob...it's from Feb 1992. Thank you for clarifying that. I could have sworn the seller told me it was AutumnGlo. I see a lot of differing shades of FireGlo out the...
