Seems the '64 bodies were a little wider than '66...something I'd not appreciated until I tried to put the '64 in a vintage reissue case and it wouldn't fit! :lol:

The Rose Morris that I had and started this thread with (March ‘64 1998) was eventually joined by the one that I wanted in this thread (January ‘64 1997). They look pretty good together, but only one was lucky enough to be selected for the new Rickenbacker book by Martin and Paul Kelly - ‘Rickenbacker Guitars - Out of the Frying Pan Into the Fireglo’. I think those 1997 60's AutumnGlo's were the "MoonGlo's" I mentioned a few years ago that my brother said came into the music store he worked at in the early 70's!!

It's officially designated as Autumnglo although on here Redburst has been used. Here are more shots....

I think these are the guitars that were called "MoonGlo" when he worked at a music store in the mid 70's!
