Wolfmother bassist at Live Earth

Post by rickboy88 »

I must be in a picture mood tonight (also posted on the Beatles forum re: a McCartney 4001S pic). Just saw this shot of the Wolfmother bassist at Live Earth:

He used a Fender for the whole show at Bonnaroo a few weeks ago.

Looks like a '70s 4001, sccording to the skunk stripe. Maybe an early 4003?

I've seen a close up of this thing. "Battered" would be an understatement!

Great band!

I have seen him use that Ric quite a few times at shows I have seen on video. Not sure what songs, if any, he used the Ric for on their album.

That's funny. I caught their last few tunes of the Live Earth show ('Woman' and another one), and he was playing a Fender. he was going nuts on the keyboard too. High energy guy!

BTW, it looks like a '74 (1/2" spacing).
