LOL! I'm looking for # 3 now!
JA came to me as a stripped carcass so she was a moderate resto.
Very worthwhile and am very pleased with the end result :-)

Very nice John, I see JA on Klusons and a nice full scratch plate, really cool indeed.

No Klusons(sorry about the iPhone pic), but they are Contour Slimlines. I need to re-assemble the Flat Slimlines as I sent them out to be replated.
The full guard is supposedly from a '68. I didn't have a short guard but felt this one looked pretty nice and was my only "real" vintage Rick guard....

Those full guards are just so cool.

At the moment my 21 is off the road awaiting new truss rods, which are proving rather expensive, I'm missing it more now.

Watch those teeth, Marlin. I'm not sure we've properly sedated the beast . . .

Hey! Quit hogging all the 21-fretters!!

Very nice job on the restoration. Looks really good with that guard too. I really like how the guard follows the body curve, unlike current ones (HINT!).

Also like the SN letters!

But I NEEEEEED them!!!!
LOL!

The JA was arrived at by some detective work....
The position of the neck cavity is most similar to
Graham's 69...
xxx just made sense as I don't want to take a number in
use...
If I find anything to prove otherwise I'll reconsider.

Congrats again John. Two sweet basses on deck and eyes peeled for at least one more!
