Awesome to see it back together, fantastic job, so unique.

So I hate to ask, but was it 1 arm, 1 leg, and a kidney to make that all happen???
Just joking, I've got a good idea by the amount of effort and time.

And of course the quality of the rebuild is amazing.

Play the heck out of it and enjoy!

A heckuva bass. One for the ages.

Have you thought about a case for that beauty? G&G have some nice options.

Something I find interesting is that the inlays are wider/thicker that those on my Feb '67 4005WB. Did you want them fatter or is this something that Larry just does when creating FWI for his clients?

Good question Sir, Larry and I discussed at length the dimensions of the inlays, I opted for them a little wider and thicker so as to show of the Crushed Pearl better against the Ebony

I already have two cases, a Silver Rickenbacker, and an Anvil armoured case for anything else

I'll find that out shortly, Larry says it plays and sounds great, when it finally gets here I'll I'll be trying it through both my Ampeg B-15s and My SVT-III and then, we'll try it on the "BigRig" my Acoustic 360 & 408 .... :)

It was worth every penny, and, it was still a better buy, (i.e. the original cost of the donor 73-Fretless, plus Larry's cost) than a new 4005 90th Anniversary Rickenbacker, for that, I get a unique 4001 fitted out with the best of the traditional and the new

I have no doubt as it just looks amazing, I forgot it started out as a fretless.

Also I didn't realize he openly publishes his fees, very reasonable and impressive.

Any ETA?

Next couple of weeks, but, since the Weather here has now turned a lot cooler she'll sit in her case for a few days after arriving.

Jim, I think the acclimation thing is only a concern it involves EXTREME temparature changes, like freezing then to sudden room temperature. It won't hurt to acclimate but it isn't necessary.

I've built several wiring harnesses for Dale F. Do you have a pic of your new harness?
