Hi All,
Now that I'm at last moved (still unpacking) and have my new internet link we can continue with the story.

In the last set of pictures Larry had established the base colour for the overall look.

In this next set, Larry has applied the the first of many coats of both Clear-coat as well as Clear coat with a sparce and very fine red Sparkle mixed in.

We are now getting close to being finished, the clear coats have had to rest for over two weeks to cure.
Next steps are fine sanding, polishing and the addition of further Clear-coats in between sanding and polishing

We are nearly at the end of the journey .....

Looks really great, Jim. A unique bass all for you! 8) The color is superb, I'm sure it looks smashing in the paint.

Something I find interesting is that the inlays are wider/thicker that those on my Feb '67 4005WB. Did you want them fatter or is this something that Larry just does when creating FWI for his clients?
