Anyone know when these features began to ship in the modern production rics?

I am not a fan of the cream binding.

Non-lacquered fretboards is a very recent change - this year. But what are the other two you're referring to?

Today, Sweetwater has pictured black matte, and fireglo 4003s and walnut 4003w with all black knobs-no lettering, if that is what you are referring to.

I heard they stopped lacquering fingerboards in July.

My 2016 4003 has an off white binding. Not arctic white but no so creamy either.

Where have you seen these changes?

The changeover to vintage knobs on all models started gradually in the spring / early summer.
