Chris' Tele in all it's glory. Fantastic sound. Neck pickup in the middle section, both in other parts.

Squire added the second pickup to his Tele Bass producing sounds very similar to the Jazz Bass and he got some great tones with it. I saw him using it on stage in Manchester on the Yes Album tour back in early 71.
The other day I was practicing on headphones along to “Long Distance Runaround”. I originally acquired the tracks from Jamitt and I was using my 71 Jazz Bass for a change into my Zoom R16. When I listened carefully the Squire track was incredibly similar in tonality to my Jazz. Im of the opinion that LDR was also recorded on the Telecaster Bass.
