325v59 knob configuration?

Post by Melma »

Yo, I got a 325v59 (after all these years, hyuk hyuk).

Love it already, but - I've only owned a 320 before this, which had a fairly predictable knob arrangement (two volume knobs on one side, two tone on the other side, etc). When I was mucking around with the 325v59, I was getting all kinds of funky combinations depending on which way the switching was set.

Did someone mod this thing, or is it normal for a v59? I don't much mind, it'll just take some getting used to.

The control layout is the same as any other RIC 4 pot guitar, EXCEPT, that the tone knobs are wired backwards.

Hmmm! I'm not sure that's what mine is doing, I'll have a fiddle then. Cheers
