Larger vs. Smaller Headstock question

Please forgive my ignorance---I'm brand new at Rics and am wondering how much difference there is between the two headstocks. How wide are the Big ones vs. width of the Small ones:? Does anyone have a photo that they can post to show the difference?

I'll see if I can take some measurements on my 330 DG.
