Rickenbacker Minimum Order?

Post by drumbob »

I tried ordering a 660-12 nut on the Rick site for $9.00 and was told it was less than the minimum order. What gives? What is the minimum order?

I did not get such a message, but I think the minimum shipping charge is $20 or $25, which has kept me from buying parts on there in the past.

If this is what you want, you can buy it here:

I've purchased a couple of Rick parts here. Good shop.

Of course they have no bass nut on there.

Good news for Bob though!

Rickenbacker's custom service guy got back to me and said the minimum order was $10. The nut is $9.00, so that means I have to order something else if I want to by the 660-12 nut from them.

I guess I'll buy two, one for each 330-12. Am I correct in assuming that this nut will fit my 330-12s and spread the strings just a bit further apart?

Wouldnt it hang over the edges of a 330?

Would not work. The 660 has a 1 3/4" nut width, the 330 has a 1 11/16" nut width.

I wanted to order a 4004 switch from them but the shipping was 29$ to me on the east coast, so now I have to figure out where else I can get the switch. I am not sure which C&K switch would be the correct one.
