Hi Scotty, many thanks for the welcome. Its curiously 2 bits of threaded bar jacking the string section of the accent up. Im too chicken to remove them right now its its playing really nice.

So it sounds analogous to "blocking" a Strat tailpiece to prevent it from moving. Is that correct?

Welcome Gaz!
Lovely 1998 there, congrats.
It looks identical to my own (from May '64) - what month was yours made?

Hi Gary, thanks very much for that, yeah the trem is kind of locked. Its a little unsightly so I guess I'll remove next string change.doctorwho wrote:+1!Ontario_RIC_fan wrote:Very nice guitar! Welcome to the Forum...

Thanks Gaz - the 12-string belongs to another member here, but they make a nice pair!
