Welcome Brian Holden

Post by admin »

Please join me in welcoming Brian Holden to the RRF Instructional Forums. Brian is a longstanding admirer of The Shadow's Sound and Hank Marvin's guitar playing. He has agreed to guide us in our attempts to emulate Hank Marvin's playing style and use of echoes. Welcome Brian!

Welcome Brian! I truly look forward to this new section.

I am playing with a new group of folks that have had a great response to a new set list that includes a lot of Shadows and I am always trying to notch up the quality each practice. We currently perform The Rise and Fall of Flingel Bunt, Apache (of course), Tales of a Raggy Tramline, Foot Tapper, Walk Don't Run and Sleepwalk.

We would like to add Man of Mystery, and are always exploring new and unfamiliar Shadows gems.

Can't wait for the next installments!

Great stuff, Brian. I checked out several of your videos. Great tone, brother.

p.s. 'Atlantis' is my favorite Shadow's tune.
