Bill Keith

This is the father of Martin Keith, who built my two 5 string basses.

I've met Bill and actually did some jamming with him at bluegrass fests. He is pretty important in the banjo world as the first to innovate the melodic playing of the 5 string banjo using the typical 3 finger Scruggs roll. He's a very smart man with some great stories.

His son, Martin, is also extremely intelligent, so there are good genes in that family. 8)

R.I.P. Bill. I recently have been in communication with his son, Martin. Martin has been working on an amazing acoustic bass guitar that I have seen a bunch of photos of. :D

This is pretty awesome playing, right here!
