Not the worst thing that they've come up with lately. Has some advanced wiring features, too. I'd be curious to try one.

Re: More Gibson tripe!
I wonder if those humbuckers can growl? Or do they just roar?
Re: More Gibson tripe!
Does it come with robot tuners?

Re: More Gibson tripe!
Did they realize the double-entendre there?... it also captures a stunning new look that is arguably refined ...
Oh, and the Tripe Packers of America want the title of this thread changed!

Re: More Gibson tripe!
It's a tasteless look that is unarguably vomitous.
They oughta sell lots, judging from the positive comments from fans of ugly on that site.
Look for them in every pimply flog-a-torium across America.

Re: More Gibson tripe!
Is that a camouflage pattern on back? The top wood looks like early sixties veneer. Those asymmetric (middle east-inspired?) chrome plates are bizarre-looking to me. I couldn't find any full on photos of the thing, but I found a nifty hyperbole-free blurb about it at gibson.com:
it also captures a stunning new look that is arguably more refined than anything Gibson has ever produced
Wow.

Re: More Gibson tripe!
I think it's supposed to be tiger skin on the back. I don't give it much on looks, considering what they could be doing with their design legacy. Made to look flashy and sell, I guess. I'd like to see what it can do, though.

Warning:playing this guitar my cause Tiger Feet!

Re: More Gibson tripe!
Wow, 'Tiger Feet' is some kind of terrible! I must confess to smiling when they play 'Rocket' though. That affected Elvis schick totally works (heck, a few guys have based their whole careers on it).
