I've been reading about that as well. It'd definitely be cool to get a different take on that movie. Additional Beatles material is always and absolutely welcomed. It would also be nice if the original Let It Be DVD could be re-released.

The Let It Be...Naked CD is pretty darn great and it definitely gets more play time than the original around here. It's also good that Let It Be hasn't been deleted. There are parts of that album I'd really miss.

Following the release of this new film, a restored version of the original Let It Be movie directed by Michael Lindsay-Hogg will also be made available.
I would also like to see the original Glyn Johns produced "GET BACK" Album released officially!!! Hopefully like the last two Super Deluxe releases (Pepper
& The WHITE Album) we'll get a very comprehensive set in May of 2020, although I'm doubtful that all 90 hours of the Nagra film reels will be released.

I never knew that Nagra made movie cameras. I only know about, and have used occasionally, the audio recorders.

Here is what is finally coming out October 15th for the belated 50th anniversary.
Now all we need is news on the original LET IT BE film on DVD and Blu-ray.

The Beatles
JUST ANNOUNCED:

“LET IT BE”

SPECIAL EDITION RELEASES

Super Deluxe LP Edition

This fall, The Beatles present their 1970 chart-topping album Let It Be in sweeping new Special Editions, as you’ve never heard it before.

Featuring new mixes by producer Giles Martin and engineer Sam Okell in stereo, 5.1 surround, and Dolby Atmos; expanded with previously unreleased session recordings and demos.

Available everywhere 15th October 2021.

2 CD Deluxe Edition

Presented in Special edition packages; Super deluxe 5CD + Blu-ray set, super deluxe 4LP + 12” EP vinyl, deluxe 2CD, standard CD, limited edition picture disc and standard 1LP vinyl, digital & streaming.

Limited Edition Picture Disc

All the new Let It Be releases feature the new stereo mix of the album as guided by the original “reproduced for disc” version by Phil Spector and sourced directly from the original session and rooftop performance eight-track tapes.

5 CD Super Deluxe Edition

The physical and digital Super Deluxe collections also feature 27 previously unreleased session recordings, a four-track Let It Be EP, and the never before released 14-track Get Back stereo LP mix compiled by engineer Glyn Johns in May 1969.

Three tracks from the newly remixed and expanded edition make their digital release debuts with today’s pre-order launch:
