Favourite George Harrison Photos

Post by admin »

Here is one of my favourite photos of George Harrison. He he is having a close look at the neck of his Rickenbacker 12 string, discovering the stuff that trussrods are made of perhaps.

Please add your favourite photo of George Harrison to this thread.

Hey Peter,
That's what I was thinking. I always liked that picture, the innocent early days of Beatlemania!

My dad took my sister to see them in Chicago, 3p, Friday, August 12, 1966, 26th row, center. John had apologized to the press the night before for his Jesus remark. Dad said the first band was loud and the sound got louder for each successive act. The Beatles were loudest but you couldn't hear them most of the time for the screaming. He was shocked when the girl in the next seat started climbing up on him to get a better look!

There are many interesting articles on line with regard to the guitars of George Harrison. This is my take on his Rickenbacker Model 425
