Isn't that the Howie Epstein bass?

Yes, I think that was the custom bass someone built for Howie. Many factory parts I'm sure, but it didn't originate from RIC.

This bass had been discussed at length once before and it got ugly. Let's not do that again in this thread.
The JETGLO finish name should be officially changed to JETGLO ROCKS! :-)

Yes, it is one of two (from what I understand) that were made for Howie by a custom builder. I don't know what became of one, but the other was part of an estate auction a couple of years ago, and I was able to handle and inspect the one shown in the photos. It was nicely built, but the finish was not as nice as the typical Rick. I do like the looks of it, but you're not likely to see any coming from RIC; they have plenty enough to do.

I agree. A RIC model along those lines would be awesome. The Epstein bass is a great starting point but needs a few proportion tweaks.

Seems to me like a superglorified 2030 or 3001. I definitely dig it although 3 pickups on a bass seems like too much to me.

Two necks are too much as too. But they look great on stage!

Must have had it made before the heroin addiction got to great as im sure she was'nt cheap :D
