Alex,
Oh, heavens no, I was just picking on myself. I am a dork. It honestly did cross my mind that the righty Paul should of replaced his Epiphoine pickgaurd with a lefty one, but then I realised if I let that bother me, I'd be a lost cause...
Another problem I notice with Beatle tribute bands (besides righty Pauls) are too-tall Ringos.

Alex,
I just now out of curiosity checked your profile, and at 17, just now figured that you probably DO live at your mothers house. I'm SO sorry! I always assumed that at 22, I was the youngest person on this forum.
With the "mothers house" comment, I was picturing a Simpsonesque "Comic book guy". I was trying to say,"Yeah, but I could be a much bigger dork". I wasn't trying to insult anyone...
Apologies for a joke that just didn't translate into print,
Chris Scruggs

Ha! yes, I do happen to live at my mother's house.... (see profile). I dont know about that dork bit....seeing as im probably more nit-picky then you are. Such as....why do most tribute bands play got to get you into my life in the pepper years?....and why do almost no tribute bands have a hofner with removed pickguard and "bassman" sticker for the later years

Bob is correct. Case in point: In the early years of my Beatle band(when we weren't making much money) I played a lefty Epi Viola bass and a lefty 4003FG. On a break, a guy came up to me as I was standing near my basses and said "Man, where did you get those, they are exactly like Paul's".
