Rick refinish?

Post by boompiday »

Any idea how much it would cost to refinish a 1990 36012v64 in Jetglo. I found one at my local store for a very reasonable price but it is scratched to hell-doesn't appear to be through to the wood though just through the clearcoat. It plays like a dream. But, I wouldn't buy it unless the finish could be "fixed."

Conversion varnish is near impossible to touch up .
Depending on the scatches ,it might get wetsanded with 1500 then 2000 grit sand paper and buffed .

If someone used an Elvis beltbuckle on the back ,then you have some serious gouges ......that would need filling .

Without seeing it , I would not even second guess what to do .Have some one with experience look at it .

Turle wax will NOT fix this most likely .
So you too want yours "ALAPWOB"?!?!
