I didn't hear mention of a 4005...

Outstanding, all three of them. I can't decide which I like best. I think someone else had the same problem. Very nice photo.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

They are all from February '67 and not all that far apart in S/N either. The two WB models are only 7 numbers apart!

BTW, all three of those 4005s and more will be at the RIC Forum Confluence.

Mani from "The Stone Roses" used to sport one of those bad boys circa. 1988-1991. Modified of course...

I'm strictly a guitar player myself but if I was looking for a bass, I'd search for a 4005

That bass *sounds* great on the first stone roses album as well.

Good point John. I might have a quick listen now! The moody build up at the start of "I wanna be adored", The upbeat brilliance of "She bangs the Drum", the funk-tinged "I am the resurrection".....

John Squire painted it for him in his Jackson Pollock phase. I believe it was a mapleglo originally

The paint job on that 4005 is awesome! Rickenbacker 2006 Color of the Year - Graffiti-glo!
