Adrian Belew (2) Ric sighting

Post by longhouse »

In the current issue of Guitar Player, Adrian can be seen in his guitar room with two Rics visible in the photo. A full view of his 355 (I think it's a full-scale...) and half of a 360/370.

In the booklet of his '94 Album 'Here' you can see his 360/12MG. Great album by the way, lots of beatlish tunes, and he is perfectly imitating McCartney's voice in one of the songs.

His song "I See You" from the album "Here" sounds more Lennon-y than Lennon did. :-)

The song "1967" from his "Mr. Music Head" is perfectly "Beatle-y".

I was just watching a DVD of Adrian with The Bears and the Ricks can been seen during a tour of "Studio Belew". I'm a big fan of Belew - especially his work with The Bears and his solo stuff. Here's a guy who can go from pure pop to hardcore industrial/avantgarde with King Crimson. Truly a player with a unique style!
