Stones tix on sale tomorrow

Post by phlemmy »

for the oct 6 show at UVA in charlottesville, va.

i am gonna try and get 4 of the cheap tix @ $60 ea.

the stones are in my top 5 all time fave bands, metal and non-metal. i figure i might as well finally see them. too bad wyman is gone but it will be good to see charlie as he was instrumental (no pun intended) in teaching me to play drums.

wish me luck.

I'll be checking out the boys in Miami (their last show there was killer) and probably London in summer 2006. I think my Dad went to the same high school as Bill...

The various opening acts are Blackeyed Peas, Maroon 5 and Pearl Jam.

They're doing a couple of shows at Fenway Park here in boston, I'm going to try to scrape together some bread for one of those. Yeah I miss Bill Wyman too, he had a great sound and really knew how to rock.

We'll probably get stuck with the Peas. No offense to anyone here, but I can't think of many bands that would be worse openers for the Stones.
I wouldn't mind seeing Pearl Jam, at least they can PLAY.
