60's Ski Lodge Movie

Post by wmthor »

I need some help to figure this out?

I woke up real (too) early this morning and caught the last 5 minutes of a 60's Beach Party type movie that was at a ski lodge. The band playing in the closing scene featured two guitarists playing Rics as was the bass player. I did not recognize the song.

Since the station didn't roll the credits at the end nor was the movie listed in the TV guide, I have no idea of the movie's title. Has anyone else seen this and know the title?

Might've been 1967's "C'mon, Let's Live A Little" with Bobby Vee.

I once saw a movie that sounds a lot like that, and the band was the Beau Brummels. Maybe that's what you saw...

They were great, I got their greatest hits on CD, I don't think they used Rics though or Ric basses at any rate.
