Tom Petty

I caught a rerun Simpsons episode I'd seen several times before and noticed something I hadn't before.
It's the episode where Homer goes to 'Rock Camp' and there's alot famous guests that do the voices : Mick & Keef, Brian Setzer, Elvis Costello and Tom Petty. Well, at the end they show some out-takes of them in the voice studio and Tom Petty is shown doing his parts and strumming a 325V63. Thoght that was pretty cool.
And there's a animated segment where they're all sitting around the campfire and Petty has a crudely drawn 425ish guitar - with and angled Tele-type pickup and a bigsby!
Man, I love The Simpsons.

I love the part of that episode where Elvis Costello is trying to convince somebody to play bass & nobody wants to.
Then Homer says
"Out of my way nerdlinger & gimme the Strat!"

Funny stuff...

Tom Petty also appears as "Lucky" on King of the Hill. Lucky says he never has to work again since he got his $20,000 settlement for slippin' in pee pee from Costcos. LOL
