325V63 Questions

Post by simer4001 »

How many 325V63's in Fireglo were made. Same question about a 325V63/12.

How much should someone expect to pay to purchase these?

Hey Brian, I know this is off the subject for this thread, but I was wondering. How do you like your C64 FG, and how does it differ sound wise from you C64S bass?
I recently went back to playing a Rickenbacker bass. Its like meeting an old friend again

Randy, Sorry for the delay. I had given up on this thread and I just checked back. I haven't found much difference in the sound, but if I had to choose between the 2 I would go with the C64. It plays a bit better IMO. The neck is faster and I guess I am more used to the silky finish. However, if you put a gun to my head and made me pick one, you still may end up pulling the trigger. Both have surprsingly low action and by playing with the controls you really can get that Beatle Paul sound.

Plus the fireglo finish on the C64 is breath taking. It really is beautiful. Simply the best fireglo I've personally seen. I need to pull them out again. They have been on a bit of a break.

I have been on bit of a Beatle guitar kick. Which is why I started this thread. I just picked up from NCM a 350V63/12. Since the 325V63/12 is hard to find I thought I would try this. Holy Smokes! What a great guitar. Much nicer to play than the smaller 325. I'd order the 350V63 in fireglo, but Gary says the Accent vibrato won't fit. Too bad!

Anyway Randy, I hope that helps.
