That's short for Southern California Confluence. OK, I'm coming. Gotta talk to John Hall about the book. Hope I can set up an appointment with him.

MapGoogled the hotel and the RIC factory, and both look to be within a mile or two of John Wayne airport. Think I'll just cab it or bum rides from fellow forumites. Won't bring basses, though, mostly there to take photos of others. Can't wait to meet you all.

Aug. 26-28, Friday through Sunday. I'm coming in before noon on Friday, and leaving mid afternoon Sunday. Jared, will you be coming in from HI? It'll be great to meet you.

I've been toying with the idea of either buying one or having Jeff make me a 5 string but I think I'll wait til after the confluence so I can see some of these models up close. We don't have a big selection in the SF Valley.

If anyone (like me) is planning on staying there, make sure you ask for the "Conference Rate" and explain you're attending a meeting at the hotel.
