Resistance question

Post by d_funkie »

Hi. I got an email from a guy who was helping me make my website and checking the resistance on a 78 rick 4001. he said that he measured it from the output jack with the pots wide open. he said the neck pickup measured 8k ohms and the bridge pickup measured 120k ohms. Is this true? It sounds kinda wrong. If it is wrong how much did they measure back then?

Sounds really wrong .

5K to 15K is typical resistance found on most high impedance pickups .This is for ANY brand.
So you too want yours "ALAPWOB"?!?!
