My 4003's "Standard" Output Jack

Post by rob »

Once upon a time (last December) I bought my Jetglo 4003 (made in October, 2001). After a half an hour of playing it I decide to walk up to the counter to buy it. As soon as I got up, the cord fell out with no effort!! The salesman quickly repaired the jack by bending the jack's clip forward. So, with that problem solved, I have no worries. Untill now. The cord is still tight as can be, BUT only the treble PU likes to cut out only on the standard jack, NOT the ROS jack. The ROS jack, I have no problem with. So, I took out the two jacks to see if there was any loose wiring. I couldn't find any. What could be the problem, and could an amatuer like me fix this?

Nevermind this last post. I just traded in my 4003 for a 330. (I still have my 4001, though.) I'm not a guitar player, but somehow this 330 (Fireglo, BTW) was waving at me. It sounds pretty good trough my 1955 Premier 120.
