I need to give the magnetic horseshoe on my V63 more gain. I do not know what the output is but subjectively it is about half what it should be, or at least what I would like.
Who does one go to in the UK for a recharge, and what is involved?
How do I recharge my magnet horseshoe?

Doesn't Jason Lollar recharge them? http://www.lollarguitars.com/jason.htm

Chris, if your pick up is totally dead with no output I would think it's not the shoes (if they are the magnet type).
The bobbin may have a break in the windings or there is a problem in the circuit somewhere.
On the other hand, if your pick up has very low output it could be the shoes (if they are the magnet type!)
