Humbucker recommendation?

Post by joutten »

I like the single coil sound of my Ric 360. I have been looking for good Humbucker. I like the Gibson Les Paul's but I am having a tough time finding a used one in the model I want. Anybody have another recommendation besides a Les Paul?

I recommend the Rick 650C. Fine guitar. Has the humbucker and sounds great.

I'd second the 650 recommendation. Our drummer owns a Les Paul, which he's very attached to - but he'd take my 650D off my hands in a heartbeat if I was ever foolish enough to let it go.

I have a Ric HB-1 on my 350 in the bridge position. Looks like a factory install. Pure tone lots of sustain and growl. I love it. My 350 is very very versatile because of it.

Try one of those. If you don't like it you can always sell the pick-up on this forum or on e-bay.
