You may recall that I have been building a room that would contain sound. Well, I'm almost finished (thanks again for all the advice I got from forum members on the technical side of thisproject). I went to the paint shop today to find a colour that would suit the room. I figured I would try to get a shade of blue that would make my BBR feel at home when it arrived. Lo and behold, the local shop had a colour that was perfect, a nice light blue (I wanted something light because it's a small, closed in room in my basement with only one window). And, the colour was called "Music Room." I know mojo when I see it so I got it. I'm thinking that it is about the shade my BBR will be, maybe 12 cm (approx 5 inches for my Yank friends) from the edge.
John and Ben-how about I send you some pix and you can custom spray my guitar to match it!
PS -I was planning to wait and not play any music in there until it was completely finished but I had a couple the other night and couldn't resist - I went in and belted out a great version of Dylan's Masters of War. Unfortunately, my evil twin brother was out for the night so I still don't know if the soundproofing has taken....

“I say in speeches that a plausible mission of artists is to make people appreciate being alive at least a little bit. I am then asked if I know of any artists who pulled that off. I reply, 'The Beatles did.”
