SoCalCon

Gary, Joey, I'm sorry I missed the Saturday and Sunday, there looked to be a sea of wonderful Rickenbackers. I'd have loved to have got to play one of the 4005's, or a 4080. Getting to see the 'Dumpster" in person would also have been great.
At least Katie and Rose got to attend, and hopefully they were appreciated and played. Did any other v63's turn up, or a pre 72 4001 ?
Gary, I'll be back Wednesday, and we can arrange for me to pick up my Ric's. Many thanks to you and Joey for taking care of them for me.
It looked like it was a great event.
We'll start work on next years SoCalCon soon !!
How did the raffles turn out !!

Here's my photobucket album of the factory tour. My camera lens was a bit dirty for some of the pictures. I'll have an album of the confluence itself up tomorrow.

The basses that flipped my switch were (in no special order):
Gary Clauson's white on white 4003 (I'm playing it in a few shots)
Gary's Redneck (just cuz it's rare)
John Minutaglio's near-mint dark Azureglo 4005
Joey Vasco's trans red 4004Cii5
Dane Wilder's fretless short-scale conversion
John Hall's "dumpster" bass
Couldn't take them all home with me, but at least I got photos of 'em for the book.
