Not really, Tony. If I'm short of time I just save those sorts of downloads for later. Won't have to worry about it for much longer.....
However, when waiting for delivery of a Rickenbacker, I'm like a kid desperate for Christmas to arrive!!
Re: Chicago...... you betcha! Do you have any idea exactly when you will be there? I know you said September, but anything more specific yet?
I'm in the process of working out the when and wheres of my trip.

I was going to ask you the same thing Aitch. I am planning next year & my gigs keep me busy untill late in the year. As late as possible would suit me, but trying to avoid the really harsh Chicago winter! Sept/Oct would be best for me.
BTW...sorry to have moved off thread here.

'Rickenbacker'...what a name! After all these years, it still thrills me.
Hopefully I don't embarrass myself with this one!
I'm playing my 370 through my Vox AD60VTX for the bass part, the lead part, and the rhythm. The drum is an old Roland digtal drummer, got it for free from my uncle so I can't complain. I just recorded it on my computer with my cheap Sony microphone.
Not the best quality, but I've heard a lot worst!

For what it's worth, here's some haphazard stuff we put together for the college talent show last year. Forgive the disgusting vet student humour. I used my 340/6VP exclusively on the first four tracks, and played bass on the last one. "Superovulation" (track 2) was about the only song that came close to sounding like what we were aiming for!

Save it for the Microsoft forum, Chris (if there was such a thing there wouldn't be enough terabytes to store the complaints!!). I've actually fixed it. I suspected that the driver somehow got creamed during the upgrade, so I plonked (technical term) in the motherboard CD and reloaded it. Amazing.... even dropkicks like me can work it out..... eventually!!
