Badfinger Drummer Dies

Badfinger's drummer is dead. Classic rocker Mike Gibbins passed away at his home in Florida on Tuesday. He's said to have died in his sleep; an official cause of death hasn't been revealed. Gibbins was 56. Badfinger guitarist Joey Molland tells Billboard.com he just spoke with Gibbins on Monday, and says the drummer was "in good spirits." He admits they'd had their differences over the years but recently repaired their relationship. Molland notes they'd been in close contact over the past six months and were making plans for the futur

That sucks. Badfinger was such a great (but obviously cursed band).
