I figured someone would have posted something by now. I just found out.
I have a copy of Straight Up signed by him and Joey Molland.
This is a complete and total bummer.

Did he ever play other instruments in the band? I remember when I first heard "My Heart Goes Out" from their first Warner Brothers album it didn't sound like the kind of thing I expected from a drummer. There's no drumming on it, it's guitar and mandolin based. It's almost "folky" and one of their better songs. A lot of stuff from the seventies didn't age all that well, but I'm listening to this one right now and it has a bit of a timeless quality to it.
