12 String Acoustic/Electric

I am a proud owner of many RIC guitars. I am looking to purchase a 12 string Acoustic/Electric.
I would like to please hear from some owners of these guitars. Mainly, how does it sound plugged in? Did you have to do anything to the factory pickup? What make, model, and approx. price range.
