Where to install the .0047 cap in Ric 325?

Post by skinpounder »

I'm in the process of modifying my 325V64 back to 1964 specs. And while I've read Ted's excellent article on unwinding my toaster pickups, it doesn't have much detail on where to install the .0047 capacitor.
Does anyone know of a details description of this "operation"? I don't know which side of the pots to attach the cap to, and does it replace any wiring that I have to remove? Are any photos available?
Thanks,
Terry

The .0047 replaces the wire that runs from the Bridge pickup volume control to the selector switch .

One end of the cap goes to the pot and the other end goes to the switch .

I would solder the cap to the switch first , it is the hard one to solder to and this makes it easier (at least for me ).
So you too want yours "ALAPWOB"?!?!
