350/something/12

Post by shamustwin »

I watched a band play last Saturday, and the guitarist had what I thought was a 350/12. But on the Ric site, the 350/12 has the Rick system of alternating tuning heads. This had a row of 6, straight up and down, each side. Must be an earlier model, but what exactly? Thanks.

I recall there was a "copy" like that with a Rickenbacker nameplate on eBay awhile back.

Probably a Tokai RG-40 12-string, a 350/12 rip-off. My local guitar shop had one hanging around for a while for $650(CDN) - not sure if it ever sold. That headstock was danged ugly.
