Saying goodbye to a dear friend

My Harley sold yesterday...finally. It's a tad sad but it looks like I am going to have a custom bike built for me next year.

Is your custom bike gonna be an OCC bike?

heck no! i despise the look of their stuff as well as jesse james' stuff. it's a little too "pretty" for me, not to mention way out of my price range.

it'll be a new Harley motor on a stock new rigid frame and i can customize from there. i don't want to rake the front end out too much, maybe something comparable to a Wideglide's front end. it'll take time and i trust the builder's skills. and by getting the Harley motor it'll have a long extended warranty on it.

OCC should do a Rickenbacker theme bike.

John Hall,

Are you willing to swap your personal airplane for an OCC theme bike? Image

There you go! Is that what they mean by a "Suicide Shifter"?

The bike goes away Friday. I must admit to being saddened by it. At least I have a new/old RIC on the way.
