Best color for a 350v63 ?

Post by clearblue »

I prefer fireglo (but haven't seen the new fireglo) and midnight blue. I prefer the daker mids as I know there are some slight variation. Some will prefer jetglo and that's my 3rd choice. I even know where to get a blue boy but not sure how it will look.

My fav on that guitar is Jetglo but in a 360 its Fireglo. Something about the fretwork, binding and cats eye hole on the 360 cries out for Fireglo.

Jeez, my 381 has binding and a cat's eye soundhole, too and for me it's MB...

What's "fretwork", Dan?

'Rickenbacker'...what a name! After all these years, it still thrills me.

That burgundy almost makes me cry! A brilliant color!
But at least i've replaced my burgundy 320 with a fireglo 360/6!

Tony: Thanks for turning it up to 11.
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Turquoise is a great color but I didn't list it as it can't be ordered.

Dan, where can you get a Blue Boy one? I've never seen one before.

Tony, once again, you've made me extremely jealous.

The Burgundy looks great.... I would love to see one in Blueburst even though it might break my heart....

John, regarding the blue boy...pretty sure potr has one on order.

After seeing the 330 BBR on ebay I have now decided that the color will be BBR. The only thing left to do is justify my 3rd RIC when I already have one reserved.

Melissa, I actually had a Blueburst 350v63 on order - I ordered it as soon as BBR's became available. After some time, however, I figured the 660 would be a better choice for a few reasons - it has more figured wood to better show off the finish, cool inlays, checkered binding, and it was cheaper.

I am definitley curious to see what I could've had though.

The 660 couldn't be more than a hundred or so less especially if it's a 6 string.

I really would love to see a 350v63 in BBR....I love that body shape, and the color is so lovely....But the ckeckered binding on the 660 would look great with that color, too, though I'm not so sure about the gold guards (but silver would sure look great!)....
