This may be a stupid question but...how is the SUSTAIN on the "S" model?

Probably not on this model, I'm not sure though.
My 4001 has a neck trough design, but since the neck pickup cavity (1/2" spacing) is routed so deep, I don't think it makes a difference anymore if it was set or through.
The set neck with the 1" spacing probably even is a stronger design. (I could be wrong of course)
Maybe Paul shows us the broken up v63 that was on e-bay a while ago.
