Should I drop a humidifier stick in the f-hole of my Ric 360/12 in this winter dry weather?
And let me say, you guys are awesome with your answers. What would I do without you?
Thanks!

Probably wouldn't hurt to use a humidifier stick in the F-hole. You should buy an inexpensive hygrometer, usually available at any Wal-Mart, and find out the humidity level in the room where you keep your Ric. A room humidifier would probably be sufficient as long as you kept the guitar stored in it's case when you weren't playing it.

I would go for a clay humidifier put inside the guitar case, that is if you plan to store your instrument in the case when it is not in use. Over the years, I have had the best luck with this inexpensive humidification. It must be emphasized, however, that I live in Canada with dry winter conditions. We have very low humidity and temperatures down to -40 C.

Corey: I can see no good reason not to put a clay humdifier in each guitar case. While a small bit of moisture is introduced into the case it is sufficient to keep things from drying out. In the summer, just leave them in the case without adding water to the humidifiers in the late spring. I expect you will be satisfied with the results.
