Bridge leaning forward after lowering - advice?
Once again, I am seeking the counsel of the oracle. I decided I wanted to lower the action on my 360/12 since it seemed kind of high (I've had the guitar for about 5 months, bought new). Following the oh-so-detailed manual, I adjusted the screws and lowered the bridge, thus lowering the strings. Everthing plays and sounds fine, but the bridge is leaning forward toward the neck. Is this normal or did I just void my warranty? Are there any adverse consequences to lowering the stings this way?
Assuming the bridge was Not leaning forward[I assume you mean, Toward the PU?]Before you started adjusting it, you likely inadvertantly raised the allen screws further than you thought
while trying to lower it.Take a closer look in good light and see if all 4 legs are firmly seated in the 4 indents in the baseplate corners.
If not, you can gently, but firmly rock or move the whole bridge so it sits better on the plate.
Ideally, after setting the height where you want it, each of the 4 legs should be the same length. You can check this with a 1/64th increment steel ruler[like those 6 inch pocker types].I doubt your warrany is voided because of this.Go back and recheck your work and reset it if need be.

Thanks, Don. You were right. I rocked it so that it sat better on the plate and adjusted the screws so that it was straight. But I cannot for the life of me get the strings to lower without the bridge leaning toward the PU. And the screws are all the same length. Could it be that it is supposed to lean this way when making this adjustment?

I don't think it's Supposed to be tilted, but obviously, it's Capable of tilting. To avoid this next time you adjust, try just loosening the Backside of the bridge a bit more, then rocking it a bit to make sure it seats in the baseplate indents.
