My guess is it is a V63 sanded to look like PM's bass. Calling it a '68 is fraudulent.

Its that same one with the guitar jack plate in serial #.

Oh, you mean the same one we discussed a couple months back that someone was trying to pass off as a real '68?

I've been there, a lotta liberty in the descriptions.

but they let you touch (since I don't play) 'em...
