It's just Kent tryin' to get a rise out of me, I think...here goes:

So, my esteemed elder brother Brammy...I've given it some thought, and I propose a hypothetical: who would one rather be stuck in a broken elevator with, Bill Maher or Bill O'Reilly? Politics aside (if such a thing were possible), and no matter how many times I run the two scenarios through my head, I keep coming up with Maher and me sitting on the floor smokin' one I just happened to have with me. Unless he's holdin' better smokes, of course...

I s'pose you and O'Reilly would have a swell time with that sixer of Milwaukee Ice you had under your windbreaker...

I've been playing Picket tunes now since 1967, he was one of the best, second only to James brown for me.

Don't forget: Mini-skirt Minnie! I had the '45' when I was a kid...

Wilson had it goin' on for sure...I heard an interview with him recorded in the early '90's, I think...he was great, talking about how most of what's recorded nowadays is over-produced **** and the songs are no good. He was so right on about that...

Have you ever heard a song by The Small Faces (circa 1967) called 'I Can't Dance With You'. It's always been a favorite of mine but it took me a long time to realize that it steals its entire vibe from 'Mustang Sally' with Steve Marriott doing his best Pickett impersonation.

Wilson Pickett was incredible. Any one who wants to sing, especially R&B, could find a lot worse examples to emulate. He had "vibe" to spare.

He even made "Sugar, Sugar" sound good.

Yeah he did, I have that tune by him. I hate to admit it but I even like the original.
